Food ok, relatively small portions and the schnitzel was a fried finished product

Great atmosphere and delicious varied food. Very nice service and owner. I heartily recommend to all those who are hungry.

Unfortunately, the schnitzels are only finished products and not to be recommended in terms of taste or consistency. Eisbein was totally overcooked and streaky. Potatoes tasted stale. Otherwise great value for the portions and service very nice. Unfortunately the food is not very good.

Very good wild boar with chanterelles. Nice and quiet atmosphere in the garden. Very relaxing.

Food tasted good (for this reason 2 **) Restaurant from the outside OK, atmosphere inside not according to today's standard (plastic flowers on the tables, cheap dishes, uncomfortable lighting ...)

We were here for lunch today. Delicious chanterelles with scrambled eggs and a portion of cucumbers were waiting for us. Was super tasty, just tastes like nuts. The service is very friendly and thoughtful. The corona distance rules are implemented very well. Unfortunately it rained today, so we could not enjoy the beautiful outside area directly in front of the castle park. However, the interior is also very nice. All in all, highly recommended for those who love good home cooking. We would love to come back.

We went there recently. Just to vomit and we paid for this food. Never never again !!!!!!

I would never spend money on this food again. Asparagus absolutely without taste as if it were old, sauce out of the bag, salad very strange grated, never again! Coke and lemon were ok

The Gothic house is definitely recommended. We celebrated our wedding here on the weekend and everything worked out wonderfully. Nice service, very good food and friendly staff. All guests were very impressed by the nice atmosphere. Wonderful. Many thanks.

Good home cooking at fair prices. Food came quickly, service was nice and tried hard. Portion of asparagus was sufficient and pikeperch fried very well. The Hollandaise could use more pep. Toilets are clean and you sit outside in the shade of the big chestnuts. The children's playground looks very good.

The restaurant is very appealing from the outside - but that's all! The interior is rather spartan and almost uncomfortable. The counter is so high that only the landlady's head can be seen behind it. We were the only guests for dinner, and afterwards we knew why: The food was miserable! We ordered fried potatoes with chanterelles and baked camembert with toast. We had eaten chanterelles at lunchtime (it's mushroom season after all), but they were delicious, fresh and golden yellow. These tasted bitter and musty. The look was also not appealing - they were brownish and mushy. The smell wasn't the best either. When asked whether the chanterelles were old, the landlady told us they were fresh and the brown came from the roast. They were simply inedible - we had to leave them there. A price reduction, a small reparation or an apology - none! But we weren't looking for that. My Camembert: disaster. A tiny little piece and really hard on the outside, more than beneficial. Add a dry slice of toasted bread without butter. You are actually familiar with the fact that there are either two small or one really big back camembert. Briefly summarized: once and never again !!!
